Mary Rose - Cook

Died in 1545 when the Royal Navy flagship Mary Rose sank at the Battle of the Solent. Found in the galley and thought to be the cook on the ship. Skeletal analysis suggests that he had previously at some point been a member of a gun crew, with a lot of heavy lifting, until knee damage precluded him from fulfilling that particular role.
